304 STAINLESS STEEL BRACKETS
Excalibur Running Boards are supplied with carefully designed stainless steel brackets, that hold up to the elements, avoiding rust and increasing the strength of your boards over time. Depending on your cab type and box length, between 4 to 6 brackets are used per side of the vehicle and mounted to factory mounting points on the body of the vehicle.
REAR BRACKET - Our Patented rear brackets have been designed to withstand the movement of the rear truck box while providing the support to the load box access steps, located at the rear of the boards.
MUD-FLAPS & END CAPS
The moulded Mud-Flaps caps, tie the wheel to wheel running boards into your vehicle's wheel arch. This helps reduce stone chips, as stray stones thrown from the back wheels are barricaded by mudflap assembly.
Commonly placed on the rear end of the Excalibur Running boards, the Mud-Flap assembly can also be used for the front wheel arch, if you do not have existing mud-flaps in place.
RUBBER FILLER STRIP
Located on the back edge of the running boards, the rubber filler strip runs the entire length of the board, ensuring a firm seal is made against the running board and body of your truck. This helps stop dirt and debris from entering from under the truck and against the body. Prolonging the exterior finish for appearance and re-sale value.
